DMCA & Copyright Policy

WordNest respects intellectual property rights. This page explains how copyright owners can report alleged infringement, how affected users may respond, and how WordNest may handle copyright-related complaints.

Copyright policy overview

WordNest respects the rights of copyright owners and expects users to do the same. WordNest may remove or restrict access to content, assets, previews, files, accounts, or downloads when a copyright complaint appears valid or when required by law, platform rules, payment-provider requirements, or internal policy.

Submitting a copyright complaint does not guarantee immediate removal. WordNest may review the request, request more information, disable access, contact relevant parties, or take other appropriate action.

Reporting copyright infringement

If you believe that content available on WordNest infringes your copyright, submit a copyright complaint through the Contact page or through the copyright contact method listed on this page when available.

Please include enough information for WordNest to identify the copyrighted work, locate the allegedly infringing content, and contact you about the complaint.

Information to include in a takedown request

To help WordNest review a copyright complaint, include the following information:

  • Your full name, company name if applicable, and contact email address.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • The WordNest URL or asset title of the content you believe is infringing.
  • A description of where the original copyrighted work can be found, such as your website, portfolio, registration record, or other proof of ownership.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

What WordNest may do after receiving a complaint

After receiving a copyright complaint, WordNest may take one or more actions, including:

  • Reviewing the complaint and the reported content.
  • Requesting more information from the reporting party.
  • Temporarily disabling, hiding, or removing the reported content.
  • Restricting downloads, purchases, previews, or account access related to the reported content.
  • Contacting the user, contributor, or account holder associated with the content.
  • Restoring content if the complaint is incomplete, withdrawn, mistaken, or not supported by available information.
  • Taking further action against accounts involved in repeated or serious infringement.

Counter-notices

If your content or account access is affected by a copyright complaint and you believe the removal or restriction was a mistake, you may submit a counter-notice through the Contact page or copyright contact method listed on this page.

Your counter-notice should include:

  • Your full name and contact email address.
  • Identification of the content that was removed or restricted.
  • The WordNest URL, asset title, or account information connected to the removed content.
  • A statement explaining why you believe the removal or restriction was a mistake or misidentification.
  • A statement that the information in your counter-notice is accurate.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Depending on the situation and applicable law, WordNest may forward counter-notice information to the original complaining party or require additional information before restoring content.

Repeat infringer policy

WordNest maintains a repeat infringer policy and may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts involved in repeated copyright infringement, repeated valid complaints, fraudulent uploads, misuse of files, or serious violations of the WordNest License or Terms of Use.

WordNest may also block uploads, downloads, purchases, or account access if copyright misuse, payment abuse, license abuse, or security risk is detected.

False or misleading claims

Submitting false, misleading, or bad-faith copyright complaints or counter-notices may have legal consequences. Do not submit a copyright complaint unless you have a good-faith belief that the reported content infringes your rights or that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

User responsibility

Users are responsible for making sure their use of WordNest assets follows the WordNest License, Terms of Use, and applicable law. Purchasing or downloading an asset does not provide copyright ownership, exclusive rights, trademark rights, logo rights, or permission to resell or redistribute digital files.

Contact for copyright issues

To report a copyright concern, use the WordNest Contact page and include "Copyright" or "DMCA" in your message topic when possible.

If WordNest later designates a dedicated copyright email or copyright contact, that information will be listed on this page.
